Tropicana Bungalow

Our client was looking for a contemporary garden which is clean and sleek in their house. A “outside room” that suitable for small family gathering, daily recreation and a great visual environment.

After the site visit, the designer decided to retain but upgraded the existing water feature of the garden as one of the design elements. The falling water from the bright travertine wall provide both sound and sight which stimulate senses.

The green welcome lawn creates greater flexibility little room for the house. This rectangle lawn with a light beige travertine wall as background gives the area a modern and clean feel. Rather than a normal wall, a slit has been created to let the water flow out from the wall to give interest. The wall here almost spans the width of the garden and provides both a focal points and a place to put all inevitable bits together.
